A large-scale nationwide campaign ‘People’s Lawyer’ is starting in the areas and cities of Kazakhstan. Zakon.kz reports, leading experts from all branches of law will provide the public with free consultations on all issues of interest.

The campaign is aimed at increasing the legal literacy of the population and providing free legal assistance to the citizens. The ‘People’s Lawyer’ event will be attended by well-known Kazakhstani lawyers, notaries, judges, prosecutors, investigators, bailiffs, police officers, employees of Antikor, justice, tax authorities, the Real Estate Registration Department and many others. The organizers recommend taking documents on the case of interest to the meeting with experts and government agencies, so they can give you more complete and high-quality recommendations.

The geography of the ‘People’s Lawyer’ is expanding every year. In addition, to large cities, other areas – regional centers, townships and villages in all regions of the country – join the action every year.

Since 2016 year, more than 8 thousand experts and government officials have taken part in the event. More than 165 thousand people was received consultations, who applied for legal assistance.

The event will pass with the support of Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan; the organizers are the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the online publication Zakon.kz, the Paragraph information system, the Republican College of Lawyers, government bodies, the best lawyers and notaries of Kazakhstan.
